ABOUT THE AUTHOR
In the seventh grade, while Charles was attending Catholic school, the head priest came to his classroom seeking altar boys for church service. Not fully understanding what the duties of an altar boy were, he quickly raised his hand and thought to himself, I’ll figure it out. How hard can it be? After weeks of training, Charles loved serving the Lord.
However, the Thursday before his first Sunday service, he learn that he could not participate because he and his parents were not baptized Catholic. His heart was broken, and he felt rejected by the church as if he had done something wrong.
From that day forward, Charles set out on a quest to learn more about God and His way of doing things.
